2012 Land Rover Defender Twisted

This 90 was supplied new by Ripon Land Rover on 28/09/12 in XS SW specification finished in gloss black with the 2.2 diesel engine with 5 speed manual gearbox options. The brand new car went straight to renowned Land Rover modifiers Twisted for an extensive programme of works that ran to nearly £20,000.

In September 2022, at the time of the last service, the car had just under £7,000 spent on further upgrades and maintenance at Foley Land Rover Specialists. This work included a full service, steam clean and Waxoyl of the underside of the vehicle, new Optimill window catches, 2 new Lazer lights on the rear, a new full width Triple R 28 Elite Gen 2 LED light bar on the front, 2 switches and wires for dash to control said lights, tracking, new rear swing away, new replacement zinc plated bumper sprayed black, painted wheel hubs, 4 new mudflap galvanised brackets coated black, 4 new springs, 4 new Bilstein shock absorbers and new rear drive shafts.

In November 2022, the Defender was then taken to Audiofile Incar in Hertfordshire for an extensive audio and security upgrade totalling £5,300. This comprised od:

• Alpine iLX705D double din head unit with Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth etc.
• Meta Trak Thatcham Cat S5 Plus tracker
• Audiofile’s “Defender Ultimate Audio Upgrade” (Audison speaks, amplifiers and sub woofer)
• Optimill Package of Window blocks, front door hinges and rear load door hinges

Today, this Land Rover presents very well throughout and drives phenomenally, such a step up from a standard 2012 Defender 90.
